Faces and facial expressions are detected trough ARKit Apple API and ARFaceTracking.

The image displayed at the end of every game is a temporary screenshot of said AR view and is not persisted, stored or shared in any way. 

An optional record button can record the screen, user has total control of the final video. The app doesn't persist any data whatsoever.
